Dwarfed by the vastness of the ocean, a Southern Right Whale and her calf dive deep to avoid a rolling wave. De Hoop Marine Protected Area in South Africa is one of the globes most important breeding grounds for these magnificent animals and over 350 of them return on an annual basis to breed in the sheltered bays between the months of May and October.
