Langebaan Lagoon in the West Coast National Park is one of South Africa's most important wetlands and is home to an incredible array of biodiversity. Migrant birds flock to feed here during the summer months and this is largely due to the stunningly beautiful and critically important salt marshes that form the basis of a complex and healthy food chain.
