Habitats and species are under immense threat as a result of mans constant so-called need for land. Entire habitats are often unnecessarily and continually being pillaged for their non-renewable resources such as timber or they are being converted into agricultural lands or are cleared for development purposes. This clearing has already destroyed many delicate ecosystems and the fragile species that live within. We need to fully understand that our own futures are dependent on the healthy functioning of the planets ecosystems, soils, plants and animals. The destruction of these ecosystems will negatively impact on us!
