As dusk falls over Bird Island in Algoa Bay, South Africa, African Penguins return to shore under a golden glow of light after having spent the day feeding out to sea. They come to land through a narrow slipway and have to time their landings perfectly to avoid being smashed by the pounding waves that break upon the rocks.
