At dawn, at the inlets of freshwater streams on the shores of Lake Nakuru in Kenya, thousands of great white pelicans and lesser flamingoes congregate on a daily basis to bath and drink. The birds wash themselves thoroughly to rid their feathers of the corrosive caustic soda's that have built up on the birds feathers while feeding out in the Lake. This is without a doubt an incredible opportunity to watch one of nature's great events.
