In the forest patches of central Mozambique, a secretive male Red-Throated Twinspot ruffles its feathers after bathing and drinking from a quiet and secluded pool of water. These small pools become a hive of activity as the heat of the day increases and many hard-to-see species show themselves if you have the patience to sit quietly nearby for several hours.
